McKay and I became friends simply because we grew up in the same neighborhood. We've known each other since 2003 right after graduating from high school and from the beginning, we spent our late teens together.We played football,games ,celebrated birthdays, and looked out for each other . We literally saw each other living all our first ever experiences as we grew up. Even after all these years, I'm grateful that a neighborhood friendship turned into a lifelong brotherhood.
I first met McKay aka Mukooli in 2011 at Compton in the University of Ibadan when I was visiting another one of the groomsmen, Arewa. It was a brief meeting, but even then, he came across as a genuinely cool and grounded guy. We reconnected in 2019, and since then, our friendship has grown. Over the years, I’ve come to know him as an amazing person. Loyal, thoughtful, and the kind of friend you can always count on. It’s been a privilege watching his journey and being part of this chapter of his life.

I met Mckay in 2006 at the University of Ibadan, where we lived as next-door neighbors on the same block on Amina Way for over three years. Some of my best memories were made during those unforgettable years at Compton. Over the past 20 years, Kayode has stayed through to himself; he has remained humble, dependable & easy to get along with. He has been a steadfast and reliable friend and I genuinely wish him continued success, good health, marital bliss & a lifetime of happiness with his family.
I have heard a lot about McKay even before I met him. I finally met McKay through Tunde Akinpelu. I didn't even know his name was Kayode. I called him McKay for so long till I found out his real name is Kayode. From the first day I was introduced to him I liked his vibe, so whenever he calls/txt that we should go have a beer or two, it was an easy yes for me. McKay is a sure guy, dependable and correct guy to hang out with. I'm not surprised he's also a good husband and dad. He's one of the very few good guys left out here. Happy Married Life my G!
